The Petit Palais is host to a new temporary exhibition, “Baroque during the Enlightenment”.
The exhibition, which is mainly held in order to draw attention to the magnificent chefs-d’oeuvre of the captivating 18th-century churches of Paris, opens on March 21 and runs until July 16, 2017. It showcases some of the most wonderful and fascinating religious paintings which were painted by great artists such as Largillière, Restout, Lemoine, Vien, David, and Van Loo, between the Régence period and the French Revolution.
