“Between Sculpture and Photography” is on view from April 12th to July 17th, 2016, at Musée Rodin, Paris. The exhibition puts accent on the relation between two intertwined kinds of art : Sculpture and photography.
“Between Sculpture and Photography” gives prominence to the works and the of 8 of the best artists who belong to the second half of the 20th century including both photographers and sculptors.
The artists are: the American abstract expressionist artist John Chamberlain (1927-2011), the American sculptor and photographer who was honored the Praemium Imperiale and the Legion of Honor Cy Twombly (1928-2011), the renowned photographer Dieter Appelt (born 1935), the Swiss sculptor Markus Raetz (born 1941), the American Gordon Matta-Clark (1943-1978), the sculptor and land artist Richard Long (born 1945), the British artist Mac Adams (born 1943), and the famous Italian artist Giuseppe Penone (born 1947).
The exhibition "Between Sculpture and Photography" is a only a 30 minutes' walk from Hotel Louvre Marsollier Opera Paris.
