Until July 3rd, 2017, the Galerie 3 of the Centre Georges Pompidou is home to « Mutations-Créations », an exhibition assembling some of the most iconic works of the celebrated Welsh artist and industrial designer, Ross Lovegrove.
About the Artist:
Ross Lovegrove was born in 1958 in Wales, the United Kingdom. Mostly popular for his environmentally-informed approach as well as for the uniqueness of his work, he has proved to be a source of inspiration for many young artists of the day.
His creativeness and innovative thinking have paved the way for him to be honored many prestigious awards, among them the D&AD Silver Medalist and the Red dot design award, which he won for the products he created for Turkish manufacturer of sanitaryware and bathroom furniture, VitrA.
About the Exhibition:
« Mutations-Créations » is an exhibition that emphasizes the powerful potential of technology and the extent to which science can interact with art and nature. It encompasses an interesting selection of the artist’s greatest creations and includes some of his most favourite works. So, don’t miss it, especially if you’re staying at our Hotel Cambon.
