“Seydou Keïta” is an exhibition devoted to the work of the Malian self-taught photographer Seydou Keïta (1921-2001). Running from March 31st to July 11th, 2016, and taking place at the Galeries Nationales du Grand Palais, Paris, this exhibition puts on display a broad range of stunning portrait photographs, captured by the artist, notably between the 1940s and the 1960s.
The exhibition features a selection of more than 300 rare and unique photographs by the artist as well as a set of modern black and white prints. It also presents other prints created by many other creative artists who belong to Keita’s time.
