"Piaf,The Exhbition" a tribute to Edith Piaf at The National Library of France

As this year corresponds to the centenary of her birth, the French National Library (BNF) did not miss the opportunity to honor the legendary artist who strongly marked the French music, Edith Piaf.
Edith Piaf, the French Icon is paid tribute at the National Library of France through an exhibition held from 14 April to 23 August 2015.

The centenary of her birth is a great opportunity to meet the great moments of her history, the exhibition taking place at the Bibliothèque National de France brings together a selection of records, photographs, posters, letters, programs ... as well as a fetish collection including the star’s famous little black dress. This exhibition offers an opportunity to understand what woman was Edith Piaf, as it presents hundreds of archival documents and offers a retrospective of the career and private life of the most popular French icon.
" Piaf, the Exhibition " is an opportunity to recall the singer’s amazing career, a popular idol and international icon, whose songs are still inspiring many of us. The exhibition allows the visitor, equipped at the entrance of a universal audio guide, to immerse in the world of Piaf through spectacular scenery and a rich musical and audiovisual tour. Visitors will also be allowed to interpret one of 10 memorable songs of Piaf, as a karaoke party will be held for the occasion, " Hymne à l’amour ", " la vie en rose ", " la foule " … chose your favorite and savor the moment, and remember, Piaf “Ne regrette Rien”!
