WAVE at the Parc de la Villette
At the Parc de la Villette, an ingenious new exhibit shines the spotlight on creativity in all forms. The exhibit is called 'WAVE' and it runs from September 10 until October 5, 2014. Within a temporary structure, 20 innovative projects will be presented, selected according to their ingenuity and their economic impact.
In this way, the Parc de la Villette illustrates how today's innovators have changed the world for the better. From the TechShop in Detroit, which allows everyday inventors to access high-tech equipment within a professional fabrication studio, to the M-KOPA allowing Kenyans to generate their own electricity, a variety of inspiring projects will be on display.
More than just ideas, the projects showcased in the 'WAVE' exhibit and being carried out successful right this very moment. They share in common their ability to change many lives with only limited resources. In this way, the exhibit is also a forum for the future, showing the public at large how small changes can make a big difference.
Workshops have also been planned so that visitors can engage themselves even more after being inspired by 'WAVE.'
