The Paris Art Fair Showcases the Talents of Contemporary Artists
From 27 March 2014 to 30 March 2014
A prestigious artistic gathering at the Grand Palais
The Paris Art Fair is one of the biggest art events in the City of Light. Those lucky enough to be in Paris any time between March 27 and March 30, 2014 will be able to see the event for themselves at the Grand Palais. More than 140 galleries from 20 different countries come together in Paris for the Art Fair, which will pay tribute to creativity from across the globe.
All forms of contemporary art are welcome at the Paris Art Fair, which seeks to represent the talents of both established and up-and-coming contemporary artists. This year, there will be a special emphasis on the relationship between France and China as more than 90 Chinese artists are honored during the event.
Judging from the attendance last year, organizers expect over 50,000 visitors for the 2014 edition of the Paris Art Fair. It is a truly international event with over 70 of the 140 participating galleries coming from outside of France. From London to Zurich to Moscow, prestigious groups such as the Hua Gallery, the Nadja Brykina Gallery and the Gallery Roza Azora will present their artists to the public.
Moreover, a special space called the ArtDesignLab will explore the boundaries between art and design through the works of eight designers.
