See the Art of Marvel Superheroes Like Never Before
From 22 March 2014 to 31 August 2014
An exhibit at the museum of entertainment in Paris
A museum dedicated to entertainment lets visitors get a glimpse into the universe of superheroes from March 22 until August 31, 2014. The exhibit comes after the hit exhibition dedicated to Pixar, which was the first one to premier in the museum, called the Musée Art Ludique.
This exhibition will specifically focus on the superheroes of Marvel Comics. That includes the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and even Spiderman. Comic book legends such as Jack Kirby, Stan Lee and Joe Simon will be honored as their mythical works are presented in the museum.
Through reports, original comic strips, pre-production paintings and more, the development and execution of some of the most well known comic book figures in the world will be revealed. Thor, the X-Men, Captain America and the Hulk will all be there, and visitors will get a behind-the-scenes look at their creation.
Roughly 300 comic strips will be on display. Added to that are more than 200 working documents that show how the characters were adapted for film. In this way, the exhibition presents the visual evolution of these figures as well as their principal traits. Therefore, visitors can discover many never before seen documents and facts about their favorite comic book characters.
